Structural Fabrications

Cansco Greig Engineering Ltd owns a large structural fabrication facility with substantial yard storage facilities. We also have access to deepwater quayside facilities at Aberdeen Harbour for larger shipments.

Our portfolio of welding procedures is in accordance with ASME IX, AWS D1.1, BS EN288 Pt 3, EEMUA 158 and EEMUA 197 for materials such as 43A, 50D, 50DD, 355D, 355EM, 355EMZ, RQT 701, 316 to itself and 50DD.

We have GTAW, SMAW, GMAW and FCGMAW capabilities with 4m high column and boom welding systems.

We were recently contracted to perform all the structural and pipework fabrications on Shell UK’s ACT project. The total weight of the project was in excess of 300Te weight and 4 million cubic metres. It was fabricated and delivered within six months well ahead of the delivery date and to the complete satisfaction of Shell UK.
